Gender Equality

On 8 July 2013, Télécom Ecole de Management joined the Charter for Equality of Women and Men, already signed by the Conference of Grandes Ecoles (CGE) as well as by the Ministers for Higher Education and Research and for Women’s Rights; TEM thereby committed to gender equality among its future managers, whether in their academic life or in their professional careers.

For several years, the Research and Teaching Group on Gender Gender@Telecom (professor C. Morley from the ISD; M. Mc Donnell from the Foreign Languages and Humanities department and Gender Equality Advisor for the campus; and C. Gordon-Nogales also from the Humanities department) have been conducting research and giving classes in this field at both schools on campus (TEM and TSP). Their online class (SPOC) “Féminin-Masculin dans le monde du numérique – Voyage et découvertes”, launched in January 2016, won the “Ingénieuses’16” award in May 2016 at the Directors of French Engineering Schools Conference (CDEFI).
