The Alumni Association has just released a survey on the employment of Telecom Ecole de Management students who graduated in 2011.
12 % of TEM alumni are working abroad, and more than 60 % have an international-oriented job. Almost one student out of five followed an international curriculum.
The average gross annual salary is slightly higher than last year (+ 1.2 %) and is equal to EUR 39,300. The 2011 graduates found a job more quickly than last year’s graduates: 52 % of them were hired before graduating, and 97 % within six months.
84 % signed an open-ended contract and 93 % are executives. One third of the 2011 graduates are working in macro-companies with more than 50,000 employees.
Counseling (28 %), marketing (14 %), information systems management (10 %), commercial functions (8 %), company administration and management (8 %), audit (6 %) and finance (6 %) are among the most represented positions. 3 % of the 2011 graduates created their own company.
